Connor's half birthday.

Today Connor turned 6 months old! We can hardly believe it. We are staying with my cousins for a little while as we house search and have been having so much fun. In honor of Connor's birthday and the fact that my cousin J.J.'s basketball team made it to the finals of his basketball tournament(after winning only one game this season-my mom said it is like the bad news bears), Aunt Lori is making us two big cookies. It is going to be quite the celebration. We have been having a great time with cousins. Connor likes to laugh and smile at them and he is really trying so hard to crawl so he can keep up with all of us. He can get up on his news and lunge forward, but there is no official crawling yet.
I am quite the little superstar here. I like to give my cousins kisses before they leave for school in the morning and then we always walk to the bustop to pick them up at the end of the day. Everyone is really nice to me and I get plenty of kisses here, although sometimes I don't always want them. I have also started chewing gum, after all I am almost 2 1/2. I usually remember to spit it out, but sometimes I swallow it whick my mom and dad do not seem happy about! I really want to go to school like my cousins and last night my mom and dad and I went to visit a school I might go to next year. It is a co-op preschool and it was really nice. I liked playing with the baby dolls and grocery carts there and the teacher seemed really nice.
My uncle Jimmy is also here. He just got back from his season in Antarctica and it is so nice to have him here. With all of this action, I am really pooped out by the end of the day!

Sibling love

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day at grandma and grandpa's house. The day before Valentine's day we went to a celebration at a local shopping area. I had a great time decorating cookies, making valentines, getting my face painted and getting a monkey balloon. Connor is still too little to do these things, but I can tell he really wants to be big like me. It won't be too much longer. We also made some great decorations for the window and a mailbox for Connor and I. Mommy and Daddy said they would put treats in it for us. I was really excited. Then, daddy came up from Columbus to spend the night and morning with me-us. I was so excited to check my mailbox in the morning that I woke up at 6 am. I got some beads, a flashlight with my name on it, a ringpop and a piece of chocolate. Daddy made us chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and they were even in the shape of a heart. Then, I was allowed to eat my ring pop-it was in the shape of a heart, too-right after breakfast. Connor got some new teething toys in his mailbox. I also got a valentine in the mail from my friend Maya back in Colorado. The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. Connor and I played some doctor and we went to a local storytime. Overall, it was a great day and I am thankful for all of the people I love(which for a two year old toddler is pretty much everyone!).

Just some pics

Life is going well in Ohio. Not too much to report. I loved wearing my daddy's fleece from work the other day. I also have still been a trooper about playing in the snow even though it is freezing outside. The only problem is that we don't have any gloves that fit me so I always take them off-we can't find the right size. Today we went outside and did jumping jacks which was fun. We have also joined a music together class here which is like the one we went to in Colorado. I really like singing and dancing and I think Connor likes it, too. I like to cuddle up with him at the end of the class when we sing our snuggle up song. Today when I was taking my bath Connor came to watch and he was laughing so hard at me. After bath, we jumped on the bed naked together. He was again laughing so hard. I love making my little buddy man laugh! Mommy keeps saying we are going to be so much trouble together. I can't wait!

Snowy Days

It has not stopped snowing since we moved to Ohio! We have been enjoying the winter wonderland, but some days we do get a little stir crazy. I love living close to my cousins now and have had so much fun sledding and playing with them. My mom and dad think I am growing up too fast. I REALLY want to go to school like my cousins. My mom says I am still too little so instead we have to just practice going to school. I like to pack up my bags and head to college. I usually pack some books or sometimes some cars. My mom usually cries when I walk away, but I am really ready.
My "little buddy" Connor is growing up so fast. He started rolling over right after New Years and now he doesn't really stop. We think he might start crawling soon but so far he can only really move backwards. I love playing with him and giving him lots and lots of kisses. Connor likes to be tickled-he laughs so hard, come to music class with me and cuddle mommy. I keep telling mommy she can have Connor because I am daddy's girl, but maybe next time or maybe Friday I will be her girl. Connor turned 5 months last week! It feels like he has always been with us. He has also started eating some solid food. He really likes avocado. I am good at helping mommy feed him.
We have also been doing a lot of swimming in this cold weather and I love going under water and swimming from mommy to daddy. I just got a new bathing suit, my first bikini, which daddy was not very happy about. We have been spending a lot of time with grandma and grandpa, too. They are really good to us and we have been doing a lot of fun projects.
