Connor is Eleven Months Old

We love out little bug so much. He is so playful and happy. It is hard to believe he is eleven months already! Connor is such a mommy's boy. Although I did go away for a weekend and he survived-we weren't sure that he would! He is super cuddly and still loves sucking his thumb. Connor just started walking! We love seeing his frankenstein walk and he can now take about ten steps on his own before he topples over. He still much prefers being walked around with someone holding his hands. We had forgotten how hard that is on our backs! He is eating new foods every day and although I don't think he will be as good of an eater as big sis he is doing pretty good. He is a true Italian boy and loves his pasta and bread. We have even been giving him some eggplant salsa which is probably not the best thing for his little belly, but he cannot get enough of it! Connor loves music so much. It is so cute to watch his little body start moving anytime he is around music. I really think he could be a musician or dancer one day. He loves playing his cousin's keyboard and Uncle Jimmy's guitar. He also really loves cars and balls. He still only has a few words, ball, hi, and dada. Although he is drooling enough to fill a small pond he still only has his two bottom teeth. Connor loves his big sister and these days they are so cute together. I feel like I am finally experiencing the fun part of having two kids so close in age. He and Abby make each other laugh so hard sometimes-it seriously makes us so happy! We are really loving life with these two little bugs and think from here it can only get easier! That is until they start ganging up on us!

Our Bounty

We went blueberry picking a few times last week at this great farm a mile from my parents house. It is such a steal- a pound of blueberries for $1.50!!! Abby had a great time the first trip, but after we made her go back day after day she got a little sick of it and refused to help us pick any more blueberries! Here is Abby talking about our bounty. She is also becoming quite the little chef and loves to help us in the kitchen. We made a pie with some of the berries, ate a bunch as we picked, ate a bunch more for snacks, and used the last in smoothies. Next year we hope to pick even more and freeze some for winter smoothies. Hopefully Abby will be excited to pick again after a year off!
