I have been really, REALLY awful at updating my blog lately. Life has been so busy trying to get to know my brother and introduce him to all of my friends. I have also been busy trying to teach him things about the world which is a very important job as a big sister. We have had a great holiday season with family and friends. We are now really busy getting ready for our move back to Ohio. We are so excited to be close to my grandma, grandpa, cousins and aunt lori/uncle matt. We will be moving right after Christmas so mom and dad have started to pack up the house. We are also very sad to leave all of our wonderful friends here in Denver. My parents had so many great friends in Denver before I was born and since I have been born we have made friends with the most amazing families. I know it will be really hard for us to leave all of these fantastic people. Here are some pictures of me and my friends. We all lived in the same neighborhood and had so much fun meeting at the park and going on other fun outings. A lot of the families are also having second kids just like we have Connor. We have started to say a lot of goodbyes. We really hope we can stay in touch with all of our friends and see pics of the kids as they grow. We are headed to my Aunt Lauren's house for Christmas Eve and Christmas. I am so excited to wake up with my cousin Dylan Christmas morning. I am really hoping that Santa brings me a lolipop and the book Monkey and Me for Christmas! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

Photo Shoot
One of our friends organized a photo shoot at a local park. The deal was great-each family paid 60 dollars for a half hour slot and rights to all of the photos. We wish we could have gotten more photos of Abby with her big smile, but she was being a typical two year old. Here are a few of our favorites. Connor is exactly one month and Abby is two years.

Welcome Connor James!
I haven't had much time to update my blog these days because I have been busy getting to know my new brother-that's right I am a big sister!! My brother, Connor James Boissy was born on August 25th,2010. Mommy said the birth went really fast. On the morning Conor was born, mommy, grandma and I went to the Botanical Gardens to check out the new children's garden. It was really cool- there were so many things to play with and a little river I got to splash in. After I took a nap, my mom, grandma and grandpa and I went to get a mattress for my big girl bed. Mommy said her tummy was a little achy, but not that bad. She was even helping Grandpa strap the mattress on the car. After we got home around 330, mommy called daddy and told him that the baby might come tomorrow and that he should get a sub for school. Daddy decided to come home and he got home a little after 430. A little bit after 5 mommy and daddy left for the hospital. They checked in at 535 and my brother was born at 625!! It even happened so fast grandma disn't make it to the hospital. After Connor was born, grandma and grandpa took me to the hospital to meet Connor. Nana met us there, too. I got to hold Connor right away. He was so little!!!! Mommy and Daddy had to spend the night in the hospital so I went home with grandma and grandpa and Nana. The next day we went back to the hospital and spent the day with mommy and daddy until they got to come home in the afternoon. I had a great time at the hospital throwing money in the fountain and singing songs to all the visitors. So far, I think my brother is alright.
The best thing about Connor being born was all the visitors we got. My cousins from Ohio came to visit the weekend after he was born. We had so much fun!

Summer Fun
We have been so busy the past few weekends enjoying the summer weather in the mountains and with family. A few weekends ago we went to visit Aunt Shay and Uncle Boris in Vail. It was a great visit and I loved exploring their home that had three levels! Nana came up to visit as well. We got to take a gondala ride to the top of Vail mountain and then once we got to the top I got to ride a pony. I may look a little scared in the picture, but I really had fun sitting on the pony and loved telling my friends all about it!
The next weekend was the 4th of July and so we took a trip to Ft. Collins to spend the night with my cousin Dylan. We had a great time BBQing with grandpa, Aunt B, Uncle Fred and Scott, and Codie the dog. Aunt Lauren and cousin Dylan are so much fun to hang out with. We were suppose to go to fireworks at night, but it started to rain really hard so my parents decided we should go to bed instead. We also got to go to a 4th of July party at Hannah's house which was fun and I even got a firework tattoo from one of her neighbors. Daddy tried to ride a unicycle which was funny to watch.
Last weekend we went camping with my mom's friend Laura who she use to work at a school with and her husband and brother, Sarah and Jake and baby Noah and some other friends of Laura. I got to eat my first smore which was was yummy, but really messy and hard to eat. My daddy and I went tubing and we got to play in the river. There were two other kids there, Lucy and Liam who were a lot of fun to play with. It was fun to play in the tent, too, but my mom and dad thought I woke up way too early in the morning!
My grandma and grandpa also came for a visit from Ohio and we took a trip to Estes Park. We stopped to eat lunch next to a really cool place that had go carts and i got to drive them with my daddy. It was so much fun and we went so fast!!! After that, we went for a hike in the park which was cut a little bit short by an afternoon rainstorm. Grandma and Grandpa were so much fun and I love calling grandpa Jim- it always cracks me up. They bought me a new giraffe pool that has been a lot of fun to have on these hot hot days.

Our water baby
Today Abby is letting me, her mom, update her blog. Abby is having so much fun this summer playing in the water. She loves to try to jump from the side of the pool to her mom and dad. When we are in the baby pool she has so much fun dunking her head all the way under. It was really fun for us at first, too, not it is a little scary. Abby also loves to lay back in the tub and get almost totally submerged. She has no fear when it comes to water. Today we went to a birthday party and there was a pool with a small slide into it. Abby would head down the slide face first into the water! She is a little daredevil.
We are having so much fun with Abby this summer as she becomes more verbal. She has been singing a lot of songs lately, but her favorites are Take me Out to the Ballgame and Bringing Home my baby Bumblebee. She also loves to stall when I tell her it is time to go or time to sleep so she always tells her mom she is going to do something for just one more minute and then do what I ask- and then one more minute, etc. It is pretty cute, but can be rough when we are in a hurry to get somewhere. She is also becoming a lot more independent wanting to strap her own car seat, get her own milk, and do pretty much everything her self! Hopefully that will continue when her new brother gets here.
Although she is gaining some independence, Abby is also a little cuddle bug. She loves giving kisses and hugs to us and her friends. Every morning she comes into bed with us and gives us lots of love. I am sure we will keep up this tradition even when the new baby comes. It has been so great having Matt home this summer and she and her daddy have become a lot closer. Now when mommy says no to something, Abby says, "I'll ask Daddy." Oh boy!

Father's Day
We had a great day yesterday celebrating my daddy. I think my daddy is the greatest because he always makes me laugh and he will chase me whenever I want. He also plays with me all of the time and even goes through tunnels he really doesn't fit into or sits in my play house even though it isn't very comfortable for him. My daddy gives me a bath every night and he even blows bubbles and gets all wet to make me laugh. My daddy takes me to play soccer and for fun bike rides. I love my daddy because he says yes even when mommy says no- esp. when it comes to extra treats like cookies or lemonade. My daddy is the best cook and the best snuggler in the world. It was a great day to celebrate. We even got a special visit from PopPop and Aunt Lauren and we all ate brunch together. I wish grandpa could have been here, too, but hopefully we will get to see him at the end of this month.

Summertime!!!
I had such a great time visiting my cousins in Ohio. We were so busy swimming, running races and playing. My mom forgot to bring her camera though so we will have to wait to post about our trip till grandma sends us some pictures.
Since we have been back in Colorado my dad has been on summer break and we have been having a lot of fun together. I think mommy really likes having him home for the summer because she gets to sleep in and gets some breaks. We may go camping this next week. Mommy's belly is also growing a lot bigger. Sometimes there isn't enough room on her lap for me to sit. We are getting very excited to meet the new baby. We only have two months left until the my brother or sister arrives. Mommy and daddy think I will be a great big sister.

We have been so busy lately that I have been really bad at updated my blog. We were still having my friend Caden over to play three days a week, but mommy told me that Thursday was our last day. I was really starting to get use to having Caden around and will be sad to not see him as often. I hope we can plan lots of playdates with him this summer. I have also really been enjoying our weekly playdates with Zoe, Dalila and Noah. We usually met every Tuesday to play. We had a great mother's day with nana, aunt shay, aunt lauren and cousin dylan and have had a visit from both grandma and uncle jimmy. Life has been so busy, but also a lot of fun. Mommy took me back to the doctor last week and they said they are no longer worried about my weight and I am now back into the 10th percentile for weight. Mommy also had a doctor's appointment last week and I overheard her saying the doctor may have slipped and told mommy that I am going to have a sister soon! I would love that. I keep telling mom and dad that I want to have a sister. We also got to go to a special party this week for the new baby and all of my friends in the neighborhood were there. Mommy got a lot of great treats for the new baby, diapers, wipes and bath products and I even got a big sister present. This weekend we got to go to a graduation party for Annabella and I got to watch her and her friends do some Irish dancing. They were really good. Grandma is leaving to go home tomorrow, but on Tuesday my mom and I are also going to fly to Ohio to visit my cousins. I can't wait to see Michael, JJ, Caitlin, Emma, and Nate again. Aunt Lori told me they opened their pool today and that Nate really wants me to come to his preschool graduation so I am sure there will be so much to do. I promise to update the blog as soon as we get back!
Easter
We had a great Easter! My nana and auntie Lauren came down the night before with cousin Dylan and we had a sleepover. Easter morning Dylan and I got our baskets filled with all sorts of goodies. We got some sidewalk chalk, books, stickers, bubbles and fun Easter ears. A little bit later(after they recovered from a night on the town), uncle Lee and Eric came over for brunch. We had some quiche, waffles, fruit, bacon-my favorite, and daddy's homemade cheesecake. It was a really nice brunch and so much fun to spend time with family and friends. Everyone left around noon so I could take my nap, but the fun of the day wasn't over! After nap, we headed over to Benji's house for a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and party. Benji has a great yard and there were eggs everywhere! It was hard to stay focused on the hunt though because he also had a great slide and sand table to play with.

Spring Break 2010
I promised I would give the latest stats from my eighteen month appointment so I will start with those and then move on to spring break.
Height-
Weight-
The doctors were a little worried about my weight because they said I am no longer following one of their growth charts so they wanted to do some more testing on me to make sure nothing was wrong. My mom and dad didn't really want to have them done, but I think they also wanted to make sure I was okay. I had to get two shots and then some blood drawn. My mom said I was very brave. I got some pretty cool band-aids and stickers afterwards, too. I also had to give a urine sample to the doctors so they could do something called an urinalysis. The doctors ended up calling my parents later that night to say that everything looked okay. My mom and dad were pretty sure nothing was wrong with me because I like to eat ALL THE TIME!!! We think maybe being sick all winter long made it hard for me to gain weight. I have to go back in three months to the doctor so the can do a weight check. Hopefully, I will have put on a little weight by then so the doctors will stop worrying.
Luckily, this weekend was so much fun!!! Daddy started his spring break on Friday and on Saturday we go to play all day long. Daddy didn't have to do any grading. On Sunday morning when I woke up, my cousin Michael suprised me by coming out of the basement, then JJ came up, then Caitlin, Aunt Lori, Nate, Emma and Grandma!!! What a great way to wake up. We had a great and VERY BUSY couple of days. On Sunday, we my dad made us his specialty banana pancakes and then we played in the park all morning long. For lunch, we decided to go to Chuck-E-Cheese since it is my dad's favorite place. We had fun playing games, getting our pictures taken and seeing Chuck-E. When we got home from lunch, my uncle Jimmy who I haven't seen since my first birthday-he has been working in Antarctica- came to my house!! It was so great to see him. After that, my mom, dad and I headed to Ft. Collins for my nana's retirement party. It was a lot of fun to see nana, Aunt Shay, Uncle Boris and Eric. We also stopped for ice cream at my mom's favorite place in Ft. Collins called the Walrus. I got some ice cream with banana in it. Ice cream and cookies are my favorite! I think I inherited my mom's sweet tooth. After the party, we had to take my dad to the airport to fly to San Diego. My aunt Lauren and cousin Dylan are moving back to Colorado and daddy flew out to drive back with them. Although I will miss him, I am so happy that they will be living closeby soon.
On Monday we spent the day getting ready for Easter. We played outside, dyed easter eggs and went on a Easter egg hunt!! We also had Uncle Jimmy's friend Kris over for a pizza party that night. On Tuesday, we all drove to Boulder and went on a great hike in the Flatirons. We also got to spend some time walking around Boulder. The weather was beautiful and I didn't even have to nap in my crib- I just napped on the go!!!
I was so sad when I woke up Wednesday morning and all of my cousins were gone. I really miss them. Uncle Jimmy had to leave, too. My grandma stayed for a few extra days. Luckily, daddy came home on Wednesday with Aunt Lauren and Dylan which made things a little bit better. Aunt Lauren and Dylan headed to Ft. Collins after visiting with us a few hours, but we will see them again on Easter.
On Thursday, my mom and dad had to go to the doctor so they could see pictures of the baby in mommy's belly. They said they could find out what they were having a boy or girl, but they don't want to know until the baby is born. I keep telling them I want a sister!
We had such a busy and fun week. I am so glad that I got to spend so much time with all of my cousins.
